A translucent, doubly terminated
quartz crystal with sparse, tiny, nonfluorescent
fluorapatite crystals, best appreciated with
magnification. Fluorapatite is sparse at the locality (or
only rarely recognized or retained). I collected this
specimen from a pocket near the mine's active face in
Match of 2003.
