A greenish (actinolite rich?) matrix hosts a peppering of lustrous, jet black perovskite cubes and tinier blank andradite garnets. The perovskites are well formed and individual crystals reach about 2 mm in size. One perovskite crystal is distinctly elongated (last photo). A treat for the hand lends, microscope lens, or camera lens. Needs a stand to be displayed as shown. No damage. An example from a mine much more famous for benitoite.
