This specimen is 100% mica. Its core is a roughly parallelogram-shaped structure, being colorless to silvery at the center and with a silvery border. The remainder of the specimen is a yellow, small-crystal mica, occurring as stacked plates or sticks. The colorless  and silvery material is muscovite. 'Lepidolite' is a recently discredited species name, but still used to described some colored micas, especially purple and yellow. This sparkly mica specimen sits quite nicely for display as shown without needing support. No damage.
