A cluster of opaque, red-brown spinel
octahedra, with the largest distinct crystal edge
measuring 2.2 cm. Good luster, with some minor muscovite.
The spinel fluoresces a dull red under longwave UV. At the
tip of one spinel is a 5 mm, light red-purple ruby
crystal, which fluoresces a brighter red under longwave
UV.
