A colorless and transparent to translucent spodumene crystal with excellent tabular form. The transparency is better than my lousy photos suggest. Fully terminated and complete all around, although - as is very common for the species - the terminations are naturally etched. Striations parallel to the c-axis give a silky luster. Fluorescent: pale purple under shortwave UV and a brighter orange under longwave. No cleaves or other damage.
