The core of this specimen consist of colorless, translucent to transparent quartz points which form a roughly tabular cast (epimorph) after some now-absent mineral. Also present is a 1.7 cm chalcopyrite crystal, having a slightly iridescent patina. Small colorless calcite and brassy pyrite crystals are scattered about. A little edge wear on the main chalcopyrite. From the 1970's-1980's hoard of a wanna-be (but never was) mineral dealer.
