water-clear, tabular gypsum crystal, with a typically
slanted termination. Interesting surface growth features
due to stepped growth in some areas. The slanted
termination is complete and nicely striated, but a few
small bumps and scratches are noted. (Recall that on the
Mohs scale, gypsum has a hardness of 2.)
