A connected group of spodumene blade crystals, starting as white and opaque on one end (the left end of the first photo) and transitioning to gentle lavender, slightly frosted but rather gemmy at the other end. The opaque portion -- which serves nicely as a natural stand of the specimen -- has etched terminations, whereas the terminations at the gemmy end are quite sharp. The opaque portion has a cleave along each edge, but these are underneath and out of view when displayed as shown. Something a little different in a kunzite!
