Several deep red cinnabar crystals, curiously rounded, set among white, sugary dolomite and minor colorless calcite. The rounding of the cinnabar crystals suggests the specimen may have been subjected to an acid wash, but the significantly more acid-sensitive carbonates present do not show any evidence of this. Two of the smaller cinnabar crystals toward the edge of the display face are incomplete, but otherwise the specimen is in fine and very displayable condition.
