The matrix hosts deep blue, doubly terminated beryls, which fade to nearly colorless towards their complex terminations. The largest beryl measures 1.4 cm in length. When this material first appeared perhaps two years ago it was claimed to be the rare beryl variety vorobyevite, a high-cesium beryl (and numerous dealers still use this name). However chemical analysis of similar specimens from this find have found no significant amounts of cesium, but instead higher-than-normal levels of sodium and calcium are present. Therefore we should call this an 'alkali-rich beryl." Fairly easy ti obtain samples two years ago but the supply has all but dried up now. Minor quartz and tourmaline (?) also present. No damage.
