The Sapo Mine is famous for spectacular fluorapatite specimens. Here we have a Sapo Mine specimen that might be called a cluster of crystals, or a single crystal with very irregular (and interesting!) growth. The specimen is translucent, has a light olive green color, and is wonderfully sculptural. A very distinct tubular structure with a hollow center is present. Strong yellowish fluorescence under shortwave UV (as is common with this species). Numerous display possibilities without (or with) a stand. No contact points (so this is a floater) and no damage.
