A tabular hanksite crystal, translucent to (mostly) opaque and grey green in color. With the end of organized collecting at the main hanksite locality (Searles Lake), and because poorly curated examples decompose (in humid environments) over time, samples of this species will become harder to find. This sample - which shows no evidence of oiling or other coating - is complete all around and in nice condition.
