Earthy, white felsőbányaite (formerly known as basaluminite) with nondescript gypsum crystals on a dried mud matrix. Appears friable but in fact is quite stable. Minor, spotty fluorescence under both longwave UV (blacklight) and shortwave UV. Felsőbányaite is a simple hydrated aluminum sulfate hydroxide - Al4(SO4)(OH)10·4H2O. The specimen is in fine condition, but admittedly would struggle to get even an honorable mention in a mineral specimen beauty contest.
