A large (for the species/locality), flattened calcite rhombohedron showing platey morphology hosts a 3.7 cm, doubly terminated but otherwise nondescript quartz crystal as well as moderately abundant but (again) nondescript, pink tourmaline. The calcite displays spotty fluorescence under both longwave UV (blacklight) and shortwave UV. Calcite is rare at the Himalaya Mine mine; this is a fine species association example which is also in excellent condition. Carries two previous dealer labels with prices of $150 and $250.
