An elliptical geode half, lines with small but sparkling, colorless to light grey quartz crystals. Also present are abundant  lustrous, brown and opaque calcite crystals, including several 'tower' or 'mushroom' stacks. The calcite crystals have a flattened rhombohedral shape, and are colored by goethite (?) inclusions. The geode was broken open cleanly, but not polished. Overall condition is quite fine. Likely from the famous Las Choyas geode locality.
