This glassy thumbnail tourmaline crystal as a slightly rounded, triangular outline and flat termination with beveled edges. The color is dark green to black in reflected light, but when lit from behind, The top third is revealed to be a transparent, yellow-green zone. This is common in Stak Nala tourmalines, but fairly rare for tourmalines from other localities. Decorated with a partial wrap of albite in the bladed cleavelandite form. Condition is quite nice. Currently mounted to an acrylic base for vertical display, but easily detached if desired.
