A dark colored tourmaline, with very equilateral triangular form, and a flat termination with beveled edges. The color appears dark green to black in reflected light, but when illuminated from behind, a gemmy green zone, with a very thin blue zone right at the termination, is revealed. This dark-to-gemmy-green color change toward the termination is common in Stak Nala tourmalines, but rare in tourmalines from other localities. Minor bladed albite (cleavelandite) near the base. The tourmaline is in pristine condition. Currently mounted to an acrylic base for display, but easily dismounted if desired.
