A fluorite crystal group, light purple to colorless. Lightly frosted, rendering the specimen highly translucent. Longest crystal edge measures 4.8 cm. Examining Mindat photos of Utah fluorites reveals that this is an exceptional example of this species for the state. Good purple fluorescence under longwave UV. Previous collection label gives a collection or acquisition date of 1980. No damage. Sits perfectly for display without needing additional support.
