The El Desierto Mine is a well-known, classic, and prolific Bolivian sulfur locality. Here we have a fine and nicely crystalline example from that locality. The sulfur's luster is excellent and the color a strong lemon yellow. The surface has a somewhat melted appearance and is surprisingly light (a little spongy) for its size. Complete all around (a floater), and no damage. Displays nicely from several angles without needing a stand. Add some color to your mineral cabinet!
