From the locality said to be the global leader in mineral specimens (by tonnage) comes this nicely striated pyrite crystal. It has no obvious place of attachment, so it is a floater (which is rather unusual for the locality) and consequently has six display bases and many pleasing display angles! Some scattered chipping is noted.
