19259: Pyrite - $8 Huanzala Mine, Huallanca, Huallanca District, Bolognesi Province, Áncash, Peru Miniature - 4.4 x 2.4 x 2.2 cm 81 grams Specimen status: Available Send an email with specimen number to order From the locality said to be the
global leader in mineral specimens (by tonnage) comes this
nicely striated pyrite crystal. It has no obvious place of
attachment, so it is a floater (which is rather unusual
for the locality) and consequently has six display bases
and many pleasing display angles! Some scattered chipping
is noted.
