The front face of this matrix mound is
completely covered with pale to moderately purple amethyst
points, with individual crystals measuring up to 8 mm. A
few chips and missing crystals are present, but these are
overwhelmed by the number of perfect crystals. Displays
nicely on its naturally flat base.
