Cabinet - 9.9 x 4.9 x 1.3 cm (3.9 x 1.9 x 0.9 inches; ingot)
Weight (both pieces) - 426 grams (0.94 pounds)
Specimen status: Sold

Here we have a set of souvenirs cast in zinc, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Bunker Hill Zinc Plant. The ingot, inscribed "BUNKER HILL 9999 ZINC 9999", weighs 356 grams. It has a commemorative sticker and green felt feet on the backside (third photo). The Idaho state outline piece reads 'THE PLACE TO GO IS IDAHO" in raised letters. It weighs 64 grams and measures 7.5 x 5.0 x 3.5 cm (3.0 x 2.0 x 1.4 inches) and has a integrated stand (last photo). Very interesting for the collector of Idaho specimens, zinc minerals, mining history, etc. Caution: The crystalline nature of cast zinc makes it rather fragile, so be especially careful when handling the Idaho piece.
