A slightly curved cluster of colorless to brown calcite scalenohedral ('dogtooth') crystals, with individuals reaching to 3 cm. These calcites are mostly covered with icy gypsum, giving the appearance of a late-spring ice storm (albeit somewhat gray ice). Under shortwave UV, the bottom of the calcite layer glows and bright orange whereas the gypsum produces a modest, neon green. Overall condition of the specimen is very nice.
